If your system meets the minimum requirements, you’re ready
to try Conference.
Conference is designed for two-way communication. While it
is possible to listen to a presentation and participate in text
chats without a microphone and webcam, your experience will
be enhanced considerably by the interactivity that is possible
with these relatively inexpensive accessories.
Here’s what’s going to happen when you download any Conference
room:
1. A download dialog box will appear. Depending upon which web
browser you are using (Mozilla Firefox, Netscape, Internet
Explorer), you will be able to select options to “Run”, “Open”, or
“Save” the executable file to your hard drive.
If you select “Run” or “Open”, the conference room will open
automatically. If you select “Save”, the file will be saved to your
computer desktop. To open Hotconference, double-click the icon that
appears on your desktop.

When the conference finishes auto-installing and opens, a log-in
box will appear.
2. Enter a screen name of your choice. In the “Please select chat
room” field, there may be other rooms listed, but you will only have
access to the Public Room.
3. Click OK to join the conference. Bellow is a screen shot
of the Conference interface.
Click on the bellow thumbnail for a full size view of the Conference
interface.
